In regards to the CSAH 83 Road Overlay project, the schedule for the project has been determined and this web site serves to provide more detailed information on what to expect for the upcoming construction project in your area.  The hours of construction for the project will be Monday thru Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM with traffic conditions being monitored throughout the project.  The following is the desired construction start dates and sequence of construction activities expected, rain or weather disruptions will delay this schedule but operations will be continuous as weather permits until construction is completed.

All dates below may be delayed according to weather conditions encountered during construction but offer an expected series of operations and explain the desired construction schedule:

September:

Thursday-Friday, 9/13-9/14: Culvert installation will be completed crossing Flandreau Trail.  This work will be completed under traffic with aggregate patching of the trench across the road occurring immediately after work is completed.  Traffic signal loops will be installed in CSAH 83 with work including short term lane impacts during installation.

Tuesday, 9/18: Milling, pavement repair and patching will begin on CSAH 83.  This work will be completed under traffic with construction crews using flaggers or other means to assure safe passage through the construction area.

Wednesday-Friday, 9/19-9/21: Paving operations will occur throughout the project area at this time with completion of paving anticipated by the end of the day Friday.  Temporary striping will be placed.

Monday-Friday, 9/24-9/28: Shouldering will be placed on CSAH 83 with final restoration work and final striping also occurring to complete the project.  This work will be completed under traffic as noted above.
