Construction Update for Thursday, October 11, 2007:

The epoxy striping is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2007.  The striping will be performed under traffic.

Construction Update for Wednesday, October 10, 2007:

The epoxy striping has been rescheduled for Friday, October 12, 2007.  The striping schedule will be updated in the Thursday daily construction update.

Construction Update for Tuesday, October 9, 2007:

The epoxy striping was cancelled today due to the strong winds.  The epoxy striping has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2007 or Friday, October 12, 2007.  The striping schedule will be provided in the daily construction update.

Construction Update for Monday, October 8, 2007:

The epoxy striping was cancelled today due to the rain.  The epoxy striping has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2007 or Wednesday, October 10, 2007.  The striping schedule will be provided in the daily construction update.

Construction Update for Friday, October 5, 2007:

The epoxy striping was cancelled today due to the rain.  The epoxy striping will be rescheduled for early next week. Rain is anticipated for Monday October 8, 2007, which will prevent the striping.  The striping schedule will be reviewed on Monday October 8, 2007, and the schedule will be provided in the daily construction update.

Construction Update for Thursday, October 4, 2007:

The epoxy striping is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Friday, October 5, 2007.  The epoxy striping cannot be placed on a wet pavement and the forecasted rain on Friday could delay the epoxy striping until early next week.

Construction Update for Wednesday, October 3, 2007:

The aggregate shouldering should be completed under traffic today. The striping is scheduled for Thursday 10/4/07 or Friday 10/5/07.  The striping will be completed under traffic.

Construction Update for Tuesday, October 2, 2007:

The aggregate shouldering is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 and the epoxy striping is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Thursday, October 4, 2007 or Friday, October 5, 2007.

Construction Update for Monday, October 1, 2007:

The aggregate shouldering is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 and the epoxy striping is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Thursday, October 4, 2007 or Friday, October 5, 2007.

Construction Update for Friday, September 28, 2007:

Northwest Asphalt will place aggregate in deeper shoulder areas. Low shoulder signs will be placed today.

The aggregate shouldering is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 and the epoxy striping is scheduled to be placed under traffic on Thursday, October 4, 2007 or Friday, October 5, 2007.

Construction Update for Thursday, September 27, 2007:

Northwest Asphalt should complete the paving by the end of the day.  Temporary striping will be in place prior to the weekend.  Permanent striping is scheduled for the week of 10/1.

Construction Update for Wednesday, September 26, 2007:

Northwest Asphalt completed day one of paving with it being anticipated paving will be complete by the end of the day Thursday 9/26. Work is being completed to repair a signal loop on Flandreau.  Temporary striping will be in place prior to the weekend.  Permanent striping is scheduled for the week of 10/1.

Construction Update for Tuesday, September 25, 2007:

The milling/patching started at 7:00 a.m. this morning and will stop at
2:00 p.m. The milling/overlay is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, September 26 and 27, 2007. 

Construction Update for Monday, September 24, 2007:

Milling/patching is scheduled to start Tuesday, September 25, 2007 and the milling/overlay is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, September 26 and 27, 2007.  There is a chance the Tuesday milling/patching may be delayed, due to the forecast of rain for Tuesday morning.

Construction Update for Tuesday, September 18, 2007:

The rain today and forecasted rain tomorrow have postponed the start of
the milling work.  The milling/patching and milling/overlay has been rescheduled to start Tuesday, September 25, 2007.  Bolton & Menk will confirm the start of the milling work on Monday, September 24, 2007. 

NW Asphalt started the signal wiring work at Flandreau Trail and County Road 83 on September 17, 2007. The completion of the signal wiring has been delayed by the rain. 

Construction Update for Monday, September 17, 2007:

NW Asphalt started the signal wiring work at Flandreau Trail and County Road 83 this morning. The signal wiring work should be completed Tuesday, September 18, 2007.

The milling/patching and milling/overlay is scheduled to start Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Heavy rains are forecasted for Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Heavy rains will prevent the placement of bituminous and delay this phase of the project. Bolton & Menk, Inc. will meet with NW Asphalt early Tuesday morning and evaluate starting this phase of the project.

NW Asphalt completed the culvert replacement at Flandreau Trail on Thursday, September 13, 2007.

Construction Update for Thursday, September 13, 2007:

NW Asphalt started the culvert replacement at Flandreau Trail this morning. The culvert replacement should be completed this afternoon.

No work is scheduled for Friday, September 14, 2007. Signal work at Flandreau Trail is scheduled to start Monday, September 17, 2007. The milling/patching and milling/overlay is scheduled to start Tuesday, September 18, 2007.
