Land Surveying

Since 1949, Bolton & Menk has provided comprehensive surveying services to a wide range of clientele. Today we employ professional and technical staff to support more than 18 survey crews, including 14 licensed land surveyors throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. The firm’s corporate headquarters is located in Mankato, Minnesota, with full-service offices located in Sleepy Eye, Fairmont, Burnsville, Chaska, Willmar and Ramsey, Minnesota and Ames, Iowa. Currently Bolton & Menk works as a part-time County Surveyor in Nicollet, LeSueur and Faribault, Minnesota Counties.

 

Our surveying services range from boundary surveys and detailed ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys to complex construction site staking, topographic and control surveys for large and unique projects.

 

Bolton & Menk, Inc has company-wide implemented the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) Certified Survey Technician Program. This four-level certification program for surveying technicians throughout the United States indicates official recognition that a person has demonstrated that he or she is competent to perform surveying tasks at a specified technical level.

 

Over the years, Bolton & Menk has been at the forefront of new surveying technologies. Through experienced use of both proven and cutting-edge measurement and mapping systems, we remain committed to efficiently providing professionally competent and reliable surveying services.

Prequalification Program

We are prequalified in the following areas for the Minnesota Department of Transportation: Construction Surveying, Land Surveys, Legal Description Preparation, ROW Acquisition Plats, Design/Location Surveys, ROW Surveys, and Geodetic Surveys.
