Registered Land Surveys
A Registered Land Survey (RLS) is a survey that subdivides land that is registered in the Torrens System. If you have a Title Certificate rather than an abstract your land is in the Torrens System.
Common Interest Community (CIC) Plat
One form of a Common Interest Community is a Condominium; others are planned unit developments, and townhomes. This is one of the rare surveys that allows for the vertical definition of boundaries that allows ownerships to be stacked above each other as in an apartment building.
