Laser Scanning Technology Showcased at the Minnesota Public Engineers Technology Conference

On November 17th at the Minnesota Public Engineers Technology Conference, held at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud, MN, Nathan Stadler, L.S., CFedS and Dena King, P.E. will be showcasing Bolton & Menk’s 3D Laser Scanning capabilities. Laser scanning is much faster than conventional methods of data collection in that it measures thousands of points per second compared to one point at a time. Laser scanning also provides a better understanding of the environment in and around the area of interest; the laser scanning software can provide a pre-installation assessment of clearances and possible clashes between the existing conditions and a design model.
