Jon Rippke Awarded the Charles W. Britzius Distinguished Engineer Award

Bolton & Menk, Inc., Consulting Engineers and Surveyors, is pleased to announce that Jon A. Rippke, PE, has been awarded the Charles W. Britzius Distinguished Engineer Award by the Minnesota Federation of Engineering Societies. The award is designed to recognize outstanding lifetime achievements in the practice of engineering, contributions to the engineering profession and actions enhancing the image of engineering in our society.

Rippke is President of Bolton & Menk, Inc., a 220-person civil engineering and land surveying firm headquartered in Mankato, with eight offices throughout Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri. He has more than 30 years of experience in the planning, design and administration of civil and municipal engineering projects.

Rippke has been an active member of MSPE=s Traverse Des Sioux chapter for many years, serving as President in 1983 and contributing to the chapter=s educational and scholarship efforts. In addition, Rippke is an active citizen in the Mankato/North Mankato. He is currently serving as City Engineer for the City of North Mankato, secretary of the Greater Mankato Economic Development Corporation, President of the Civil Engineering Advisory Board for the new civil engineering program at Minnesota State University, Mankato and serves on the Civil Engineering Advisory Board for South Dakota State University, his alma mater.
