ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW)

This is a Minnesota process of identifying the potential environmental impacts of a proposed project that has developed and identified potential impacts. Its purpose is to determine whether a more in-depth Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) must be performed, and if performed, what topics need to be covered. This review takes about 3 to 4 months to complete and is typically used by Cities and Counties, but on occasion, by state agencies.
