PHASE I ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENTS

The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is a non-intrusive study that evaluates the potential presence of contamination, and is generally done prior to purchasing a commercial or industrial property. In this assessment, if the site is found to be contaminated, it identifies the contamination and its possible extent. This review is typically required by mortgage lenders and can take anywhere from one week to one month to complete.
