Craig Labat was named the recipient of the 2019 Founders Award at the Bolton & Menk Annual Party on November 23, 2019. Craig is an Environmental Engineering Technician in our Mankato and Sleepy Eye Work Groups.
He began his career with Bolton & Menk in 1999 as an Engineer Technician. Craig's primary duties are focused on CAD design and Wastewater and Water Treatment Design. Prior to joining Bolton & Menk he worked in the Engineering Industry at LS Engineers. Craig's experience with CAD design including Plant 3D and Civil 3D, construction observation, working with public utilities, road construction, and vision for innovation, give him a broad and solid understanding that allows him to serve on a large variety of complex projects.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Architectural Construction Technology from Southeast Technical Institute.
Craig is innovative, helpful to others, dedicated to the company and clients, shares ideas, and looks for ways to make things better. He is someone who clients and staff respect and request to work with. One of his co-workers described Craig as great to work with and always has a positive attitude with a great work ethic.
The Founders Award, presented annually, honors the firm’s founders, John Bolton & Martin C. Menk. It recognizes an individual’s initiative, commitment to quality and client satisfaction as well as other outstanding contributions to the success of the firm.
