Solutions
Sectors
Two local businesses approached the city about basing their corporate aircraft at RWF if the city constructed hangars for rent. The city also had a waiting list of pilots wanting to base at RWF. The city elected to combine construction of large corporate hangars with general aviation hangars into one building. This project constructed two 65-foot-wide by 65-foot-deep hangars with 20-foot door clearance and five 40-foot-wide by 40-foot-deep hangars with 12-foot door clearance. The project was constructed using FAA funding, reducing the city share to five percent.
