A new street and extension of utilities were needed to serve a new hospital and assisted living facility.
CSAH 40 and 7th Street NE Improvements
City of Long Prairie, Minnesota
The City of Long Prairie had multiple blocks of deteriorated streets and utilities in need of replacement. Some of the streets were county roads. There was also a need to construct a new street and extend utilities to serve a new hospital and assisted living facility that were planned for construction.
Bolton & Menk assisted the city in partnering with the county to reconstruct the streets and utilities along two county roads and several city streets. An agreement was also created between the city and the owner of the hospital and assisted living facility. Design and construction administration services were provided for both aspects of the project.
By engaging in cost share agreements with other parties, the city was able to reduce their costs while completing much needed infrastructure improvements that benefit all parties.
