Jarvis Street and 165th Street Improvements

City of Elk River, Minnesota

Jarvis Street and 165th Street were in disrepair, did not meet state aid standards, and did not allow for pedestrian/bicycle access. The project impacted 0.33 acres of wetlands and 0.03 acres of incidental wetlands. Bolton & Menk completed the wetland delineation and Local Road Replacement Program (LRRP) permit application based on the city's preferred design. The delineation and replacement plan were approved by all appropriate agencies. The replacement permitting was completed in a timely manner, after approval of the wetland delineation and completion of design. The replacement plan was submitted and approved by the LGU and US Army Corps of Engineers. Both the wetland delineation and LRRP application were approved prior to the project going out for bid and construction was completed without any wetland permitting delays.
