Apron Reconstruction

City of Perry, Iowa

Perry Municipal Airport's existing apron and a portion of the taxiway, built in 1966, were showing signs of deterioration, including corner breaks, joint spalling, and cracking. Bolton & Menk led the removal and replacement of approximately 5,000 SY of PCC pavement. The taxiway being rehabilitated was the only access point to Runway 14/32, making phasing critical. We worked with the airport commission and FBO to facilitate temporary taxiways to allow both general aviation and commercial aircraft runway access during construction. The project was completed with little interruption to airport users.
