Water Treatment Facility

City of Carlos, Minnesota

The City of Carlos' existing water treatment facility was past its life expectancy and not removing iron and manganese to the secondary standards. Bolton & Menk was retained to design, bid, and manage construction of a new 125 gpm packaged water filter plant to remove iron and manganese below secondary standards. The City now has a new and cost-effective water treatment facility that will serve the City for the next 20-plus years. The treatment facility provides a safe and palatable water that removes iron and manganese below EPA secondary standards.
