The 2017 Founders Award was presented at the Bolton & Menk Annual Party on November 18. This year’s recipient was Anne Gode, CPSM, Marketing Work Group Leader. Anne has been with the firm for 13 years. During her time with the firm, she has been a part of several collaboration groups and innovation teams to help identify ways to meet client needs and streamline internal processes. Anne was a key member of the rebranding team and is an advocate for showcasing our Real People, Real Solutions brand.
The City of Hastings Riverfront Renaissance Improvements project received a Project of the Year Honorable Mention from APWA-MN for their work to revitalize and reconnect their downtown to the Mississippi River.
The Minnesota Chapter, American Planning Association awarded the Carver County, the City of Chaska, MnDOT, and Bolton & Menk with the Partnerships in Planning Award of Excellence. The award was presented at the Minnesota APA Conference on September 27. The Partnerships in Planning category recognizes planning efforts involving partnerships between various organizations.
The American Public Works Association (APWA) named the City of Mankato’s Water Treatment Backwash Reclamation Project “Project of the Year,” the highest honor in the environmental category for a project less than $5 million. The award was presented during the APWA 2017 Public Works Expo and Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida August 27-30.
Red Wing’s Highway 61/Main Street Project Recognized as one of Mid-America’s Best Transportation Projects
Mid America Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials awarded Minnesota DOT and the City of Red Wing Highway 61/Main Street Project with the Mid-America Quality of Life/Community Development Award in the small category for a project less than $25 million.
The Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association awarded the City of Hastings and Bolton & Menk with an Award of Excellence in the Park and Facility category for the Riverfront Renaissance Improvements Project. The award was presented at the City of Hastings City Council Meeting on May 15. The MRPA Award of Excellence program recognizes agencies or organizations in Minnesota for outstanding achievements in parks, recreation, and leisure services.
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) honored transportation project engineer, Justin Schmidt, with the Distinguished Service Award at their Annual Meeting on Thursday.
The annual ranking of the Top 500 Engineering Design Firms was released by Engineering News-Record, and this year Bolton & Menk, Inc. climbed 18 spots to #161. Since 1996, Bolton & Menk has consistently increased in ranking each year.
