Mentorship is Like a Sandwich

Having a good mentorship program is like having a good sandwich. It can seem kind of cheesy, and at first might have too many layers, but once you really get into the meat of it, mentorship can be a filling, energizing and even flavorful experience. ACEC-MN Recognizes the SMSC Highway 83 Project

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) - Minnesota Chapter recognized the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community at the annual banquet on Friday, January 25, 2019. The CSAH 83 Improvements project received the Engineering Excellence Honor Award for their work to expand a county highway and rebuild an internal roadway system under a constant flow of more than 20,000 vehicles per day.

Bolton & Menk Employees Raise Funds for Area Food Shelves

Bolton & Menk participated in the annual Engineering CEOs of Minnesota (ECEOM) food drive with engineering firms throughout the state. Food, clothing, books, and funds were raised for local food shelves, along with time spent volunteering for these causes.

Our staff took some time to help pack food for the Feed my Starving Children and BackPack Food programs. In addition, Bolton & Menk employees donated a total of $39,513 to area food shelves.

Collectively, engineering firms throughout Minnesota raised a total of $287,311 through the ECEOM food drive.

APWA-Minnesota Recognizes Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community

The American Public Works Association (APWA) - Minnesota Chapter recognized the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community at the annual conference on November 16. The CSAH 83 Improvements Project received a Project of the Year Honorable Mention award for their work to expand a county highway and rebuild an internal roadway system under a constant flow of more than 20,000 vehicles per day.
