A Quality Asphalt Award was given to the City of Perry and Bolton & Menk, Inc. from the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa. The Pavement Maintenance Program in Perry, Iowa was honored with an Asphalt Plant Environmental Stewardship Award for a Municipal Paving Program for cities with population under 10,000.
An Award of Excellence was given to the City of Iowa Falls and Bolton & Menk, Inc. from the Iowa Concrete Paving Association and Iowa DOT. The Washington Avenue Streetscape and Infrastructure Improvement project in Iowa Falls was honored with an award for Iowa’s “Best” 2016 Municipal Street/Intersection PCC Paving Project under 15,000 SY.
Storm Lake North Central Stormwater Project receives Best Development Award from 1000 Friends of Iowa
The City of Storm Lake’s North Central Stormwater Project was awarded the 2016 Best Development Award in the Stormwater: Civic category by 1000 Friends of Iowa. The award ceremony was held on January 19 at the Iowa State Capitol.
Connect Business Magazine, Radio Mankato, Eide Bailly and Minnesota State University – Mankato presented Bolton & Menk, Inc. with a Strategic Partnership Award in Mankato. The award promotes southern Minnesota partnerships between businesses and organizations with Minnesota State Mankato students and faculty.

The Cities of Hutchinson and Litchfield, and Bolton & Menk, Inc. received awards from MnDOT Office of Materials & Road Research at the 63rd Annual Asphalt Conference. Both the Hutchinson Municipal Airport and Litchfield Municipal Airport were honored with Merit Awards for Bituminous Surfacing for an intermediate airport.

The City of Buffalo Trunk Highway 25 Downtown Corridor Improvement project received a Project of the Year Honorable Mention for the work done to create a safe multimodal corridor for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
