Bolton & Menk, Inc. Completes Asset Purchase of DDC Engineers
Expands client-first approach throughout the Southeast U.S.
Our commitment to communities began in 1949 when John Bolton & Martin Menk saw people in their surrounding communities who had dreams of a bright future, a desire to grow, and a common challenge of aging infrastructure. John and Martin’s goal was to help communities make progress by listening to what people want, finding the best solutions for their needs, and treating them right.
In honoring John and Martin’s legacy, we are happy to announce we’re extending our reach to the Southeast United States to bring our client-first approach to more communities. The DDC Engineers team, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, joined the Bolton & Menk team January 1, 2021.
This partnership expands Bolton & Menk’s geographic reach and brings our innovative product and service offerings to DDC’s well-established footprint in the Carolinas. Founded in 1986, DDC Engineers has grown to be the Grand Strand’s largest professional design firm and is recognized as a Best Engineering Firm by the Carolina Forest Chronicle and the Myrtle Beach Herald.
“This acquisition is part of Bolton & Menk’s growth strategy to expand our client-focused approach to new reaches of the United States,” said Bolton & Menk’s Chief Executive Officer, Bradley DeWolf. “DDC Engineers is a highly-respected professional services firm in South Carolina. The acquisition allows us to leverage our resources and bring DDC’s clients a depth of innovative products we’ve worked hard to develop in the Midwest. More importantly, we feel a close fit from a values and culture perspective and couldn’t be more excited to bring our teams together to build safe, sustainable, and beautiful communities.”
We believe all people should live in a safe, sustainable, and beautiful community and we take pride in our ability to make that happen. At the end of the day, we have more Real People offering the same Real Solutions.
