Bolton & Menk Named a 2025 Charlotte Top Workplace

Bolton & Menk has been named one of the 2025 Top Workplaces in Charlotte by Charlotte Magazine for the second straight year. The firm jumped up 26 spots and is now ranked #25 on the list for small companies in 2025. This continued recognition underscores the company’s dedication to cultivating a supportive and engaging work environment. Employees consistently cite strong leadership, meaningful work, and a collaborative culture as key reasons why Bolton & Menk stands out as an exceptional place to work.

Bradley C. DeWolf, PE, President and CEO, credits Bolton & Menk employees for receiving Top Workplace recognitions from Charlotte Magazine. “Our continued recognition as a Top Workplace in Charlotte is a direct reflection of the commitment our employees bring to both their clients and to each other,” said DeWolf. “It is their dedication to delivering exceptional results and fostering a supportive, creative environment that makes Bolton & Menk a Top Workplace. I want to thank our Charlotte team for their consistent commitment to outstanding work.”

Bolton & Menk began our venture into the Charlotte area in 2021, with the acquisition of ColeJenest & Stone. Over the last nearly five years, the Charlotte team has grown in terms of both services and quantity. With a primary focus on private land development, landscape architecture, civil engineering, urban planning and design, and traffic and transportation engineering and planning, the more than 75 employees of our Charlotte location have been instrumental in our Southeast operations. The growth within this office has been so significant that, in 2023, staff moved into their new location in Camp North End and, in 2024, crossed the state border into South Carolina with the opening of a Rock Hill location. These new locations foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation in both Charlotte’s downtown and suburban areas.

Bolton & Menk specializes in providing community infrastructure solutions. We take care of our clients by providing quality services and the right solutions for their needs. With 40 locations, we’re local. Our team is made up of more than 1,200 employees including a professional staff of more than 400 engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors. We’re Real People offering Real Solutions.
