What started as an idea for a book about the water cycle, in coordination with the Smithsonian Water/Ways traveling exhibit, turned into a series of books to teach children about the work we do. Bolton & Menk is not only passionate about our clients, we also thrive to make the communities where we live, work and play a better place. These books have given us an opportunity to give back through classroom visits and book readings.
Our books are written by our firm’s technical experts, but are far from complicated jargon. From civil and environmental engineering to landscape architecture and planning, the books all have their own characters and unique stories. The goals for the books are to get children excited about science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) careers as well as to be an educational resource for all ages.
