Fisher Wins Division in World Deaf Golf Championship
Jamie Fisher, design engineer from Myrtle Beach and member of the Pinehurst Chapter of the American Singles Golf Association, won her division in the United States Deaf Golf Association’s 13th annual World Deaf Golf Championship at Wailua Municipal Golf Course in Lihue, Hawaii. She qualified to compete in the championship tournament after receiving fourth place at the United States Deaf Golf Association Tournament in June of 2021. Jamie won first place in the women’s senior division, 10th place in the women’s individual, and the USA team finished second in the team competition.
