Greater Mankato Area United Way Honors Bolton & Menk with Milestone Award

Bolton & Menk’s Mankato location was honored by the Greater Mankato Area United Way for their years of support with a Milestone Award at the Top Executive Leadership & Business Awards Luncheon. These awards are presented to companies and individuals who have given their time, talent, and treasure to support the United Way’s work for many years.

The partnership between Bolton & Menk and the Greater Mankato Area United Way has been strong for nearly 40 years, starting with their first campaign in 1984. Bolton & Menk employees have raised more than $200,000 since 2001 through yearly pledge drives and have participated in events such as the Human Foosball Tournament and the Fire & Ice Ball. Our organization provides a corporate and a personal match on increased employee gifts, allowing more local organizations to be impacted by our donations.

“Bolton & Menk is a company that firmly believes in giving back to communities, it is who we are and one of the many reasons I love working for this organization,” says Director of Talent Management and Greater Mankato Area United Way board member, Tonya Hobbie. “While we have held campaign rallies for the United Way for over 38 years, receiving such a kind award was an honor and privilege we do not take lightly. The Greater Mankato Area United Way supports many nonprofits in our community, and we are blessed as an organization to be able to give to this wonderful organization and see the difference it can make in our community. Thank you, United Way, for what you do for our communities and letting Bolton & Menk be a part of it.”
