Matthew Vaughan Wins ACEC NC Young Professional of the Year

Matthew Vaughan, PE, has been honored with the prestigious Young Professional of the Year award by the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina (ACEC NC)! This recognition reflects Matthew’s contributions to the engineering industry and his dedication to excellence.

Since beginning his career in 2019, Matthew has demonstrated remarkable growth and leadership. He has progressed from an entry-level roadway designer to a senior transportation engineer, managing a team of three and becoming an industry leader in project visualization. His journey is marked by a series of diverse projects and roles, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities that he has embraced with enthusiasm and skill.

Matthew believes that valuing clients, communities, and team members is the cornerstone of a successful career. This mindset has not only laid the foundation for his professional achievements but also earned him a place on the ACEC/NC Junior Board of Directors.
