Reinke Brings Home Wahlbrink Grassroots Leadership Award
Leadership, collaboration, and community impact took center stage at the Triangle Community Coalition’s 2026 Annual Meeting, where Joshua Reinke was presented with the Wahlbrink Grassroots Leadership Award.
Presented annually, the Wahlbrink Grassroots Leadership Award recognizes a Triangle Community Coalition (TCC) member who has gone above and beyond to advance thoughtful policy, encourage meaningful dialogue, and strengthen the development process across the region. Josh was selected for his consistent leadership, engagement, and contributions to TCC’s mission. Josh currently serves as chair of TCC’s Transportation Committee, where his leadership has helped elevate conversations around transportation, land use, and growth.

Joshua is a traffic senior project manager who began his career in 2001. He has a passion for promoting growth in the private traffic engineering sector and helping young traffic engineers realize their full potential. He excels at leading teams and delivering effective traffic analysis reports, while helping shepherd projects through planning board and council meetings to obtain project approvals. Joshua’s enthusiasm for teaching, coaching, and motivating others is evident in his work. He strives to inspire and empower his colleagues to achieve their goals and contribute to the success of their projects and the overall success of Bolton & Menk.
