Scott Schmieg Named 2024 Founders Award Recipient
Scott Schmieg was named the recipient of Bolton & Menk’s 2024 Founders Award. Scott is the Information Technology Business Transition Lead in Bolton & Menk’s Mankato location.
Beginning his career at Bolton & Menk in 2014, Scott is the IT lead for overall business transitions including new offices, office moves, acquisitions and expansions. He ensures smooth coordination between the IT department, coworkers and external vendors. Scott enhances efficiency by developing strategies that include planning for office needs, safeguarding company data, and improving overall user satisfaction and support. He participates in the development of internal training to ensure all Bolton & Menk employees are aligned in their use and implementation of the firm’s office technology. Additionally, Scott collaborates with technicians to maintain the company’s computing environment and responds to complex technical issues. Known for his expertise, hard work and attention to detail, Scott is a valuable asset to the company.
The Founders Award, presented annually, honors the firm’s founders, John Bolton & Martin C. Menk. It recognizes an individual’s initiative, commitment to quality and client satisfaction, as well as other outstanding contributions to the success of the firm.
