Jake leads the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) practice at Bolton & Menk, where he specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of cutting-edge transportation technologies. Since launching his career in 2008, Jake has managed the technology aspects of several large roadway, transit, and standalone transportation technology projects. His portfolio includes advanced traffic management systems, real-time traveler information systems, fiber optic communications networks, connected and automated vehicles (CAV), and bus rapid transit (BRT) technologies. A recognized thought leader in the field, Jake is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), has presented at multiple national conferences on emerging ITS and CAV topics, and served as president of ITS Minnesota. In 2022, ITE honored him as a Young Leader to Follow, celebrating his professional achievements and industry impact. Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and can often be found hunting, fishing, or boating. He also volunteers at community events in his hometown.
