The Bolton & Menk Women’s Group increases engagement for individuals in the firm and provides a forum for networking, professional development, and mentorship. We hope to create an environment that centers on the experiences of women where individuals can come together to collaborate and share learnings that in turn helps the professional women of Bolton & Menk achieve their full potential.

Resources

Schedule Flexibility

We offer flexible schedules that support flexible or reduced work schedules to meet the demands of work and family lives.

Family Resources

We provide tools for pregnancy and motherhood that include company covered Short-Term Disability, paid parental leave, and lactation/wellness rooms.

Supportive Environment

We understand the value of insight that women bring to the table and embrace all ideas to ensure diversity, inclusivity, and equity in our workplace. We are actively working to hire women in the organization and promote them. This culture focused on employees, leadership, and fairness has earned Bolton & Menk awards such as the Women in Transportation – Iowa’s Employer of the Year.

Steering Committee

With more diversity comes more diversity of thought, people, and experiences. Our Women’s Steering Committee is comprised of a group of women representing offices from different regions across the company, providing connections to the company’s leadership team regarding ways the company can best support women in the firm and industry.

Events

Spring and fall events allow women across the organization to come together to network and connect with their colleagues. These events consist of national speakers, small group discussions, or women within the firm sharing tips, stories, and lessons that they’ve experienced during their careers.
