What’s Under My Street an Interactive Infrastructure Tool

What’s Under My Street is an interactive tool developed by Bolton & Menk that visualizes the infrastructure beneath neighborhood streets, including sewers, water lines, utilities, and the roadway system itself. The tool is designed to increase transparency and help ease concerns during construction or maintenance projects by clearly showing what exists beneath the surface and how systems connect.

A cross-section diagram titled “What’s Under My Street” shows underground utility lines—water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and private utilities—beneath a road and houses. A fire hydrant, utility labels, and the Bolton & Menk logo are also visible.

Bolton & Menk has also developed a shareable Blink: Simplified Solutions video that explains What’s Under My Street and how these systems support daily life.
