Ashley Hudson Featured in AutoVision News Breaking Barriers Series

Ashley Hudson was recently featured by AutoVision News in their Breaking Barriers Series.

Breaking Barriers is a series highlighting women in automotive and tech, with a focus on amplifying women’s voices, experiences, and expertise in their respective fields. In the fourth installment of the series, Ashley shared her journey in the field of infrastructure planning and funding. Ashley shared her fascination with the inner workings of cities, outdoor spaces, and design at a young age, and how that curiosity and passion led her to where she is today.

She graciously attributes many of her recent career wins to her mentors at Bolton & Menk, along with our company’s strong support, culture, and advocacy for women in the industry.

“I am very grateful that I work with male leaders who are steadfast advocates for woman team members and others throughout the industry,” she said. “This makes me hopeful for continued progress towards a future of fair representation, opportunity, and pay.”

As the leader of Bolton & Menk’s transportation funding service, Ashley is very engaged with how projects are funded within an agency’s planning and budget and a wide array of competitive sources. She has followed funding for many years of her career as a member of the Minnesota Transportation Alliance, of which she currently serves on the Legislative Committee to help develop and promote the Legislative Agenda of the organization, including passage of specific bills.

Congratulations to Ashley on this exciting feature, and for her continued success and recognition!
