Shelby Meeker Wins Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award 

Water Resources Design Engineer Shelby Meeker was recognized by the Midwestern Association of Graduate School for her Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award. Shelby’s thesis, “Assessment of Aged Woodchip Bioreactor Physical and Hydraulic Properties”, focused on conservation drainage and long-term efficacy of denitrifying woodchip bioreactors.  

She completed her thesis while attending South Dakota State University where she graduated with her degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering in May of 2022. Shelby received her undergraduate degree in Agronomy at Iowa State University in 2018.
