This project is a new luxury RV resort that is located on a 194-acre tract along S.C. 90 near the intersection of S.C. 22 in Horry County, SC. The resort consists of RV sites and cabins, a welcome center, rental building, and amenities. Bolton & Menk represented the client at public meetings and workshops to successfully revise the zoning district from a CFA to a Planned Development District (PDD) to clearly allow the intended uses for this project. Bolton & Menk then developed the overall infrastructure master plan to show the water distribution, sewage collection and transmission, transportation, and, most importantly, stormwater management with water quality design, civil engineering services for final engineering with construction documents, regulatory permitting, and project management.
