The City of Elk River was looking to further their GIS initiatives through several GIS projects, including web GIS development, application hosting, and utility mapping. Bolton & Menk helped those initiatives through GIS technical services, python development for ArcGIS platform, internet and mobile GIS solutions development and hosting, database architecture and implementation, staff training and support, GPS infrastructure data collection, and utility mapping/infrastructure management. Through these services, the City of Elk River received GIS migration and implementation, storm sewer mapping upgrades, pond location mapping, and a comprehensive water distribution GIS data set. A web GIS application was also developed for all city staff to access departmental data.
