The New Prague Utilities Commission needed GPS collection oversight, CAD map migration, and a web-based GIS application. Bolton & Menk met with utilities staff to determine how collection should be staged and created custom data dictionaries for collection efficiency. The project required adjusting and redrawing the entire CAD-based electrical network based on GPS locations of electrical infrastructure. Question areas were then addressed and field verification was provided. Several deliverable options were provided upon project completion, including an Esri geodatabase and hard copy map books. After completing the GPS and mapping project, access to information through an ArcGIS for Server application was provided, complete with attribute editing functionality.
