Logan Breese and Scott Petrarca Recognized by NC Society of Surveyors

This year’s North Carolina Society of Surveyors Conference and Annual Trade Show took place February 8-10 in Durham, North Carolina. Logan Breese and Scott Petrarca, from our Conway, South Carolina location, were recognized in the Plat of the Year contest.

Logan won Honorable Mention for Topographic Survey for his survey of the Methodist Church in downtown Wilmington, NC, and Scott won second place for both Topographic and Commercial As-built Survey for our work in the Town of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Scott has won multiple prestigious awards throughout the years with the South Carolina Society of Professional Land Surveyors, but 2024 marks the first time our Conway team has been recognized by the North Carolina chapter!  

Both talented teammates seamlessly blend art and mathematics in their work. Logan Breese is a survey technician and expert in drafting. He finds joy in taking the fieldwork and making it into a beautiful, fully detailed map. Scott Petrarca is a senior survey project manager with a focus on project management and CAD integration. His passion stems from his love of mathematics and the arts, “Drafting has not only allowed me to use mathematics to compute data but has also positioned me to be creative and artistic in my drawings.”
