Over the last two decades, John has worked on urban trail, bicycle, pedestrian, complete streets, and urban redevelopment projects with national and local agencies, non-profit organizations, and numerous cities across the Southeast. John is a senior transportation project manager who began his career in 1993 and has special expertise in the areas of planning and design for walking and bicycling, land use and transportation integration, complete streets design, transit station area planning, bike share planning, project management, and group facilitation. A planning practice area leader at Bolton & Menk, he has participated in planning trails and bikeways in urban, suburban, and rural contexts including Atlanta, Memphis, Chattanooga, Greenville, and Charlotte. John has also served as consultant to dozens of MPOs and regional governments on multimodal policy, design guidance, and complete streets policy and implementation.
