Cody Christianson Elected to APBP Board of Directors 

Transportation Project Manager Cody Christianson, PE, ENV SP has been elected to the Association of Pedestrians & Bicycle Professionals’ (APBP) Board of Directors. This is Cody’s first term with the organization, and he will be serving as a board member from 2024-2026. Cody is no stranger to APBP, being an active member of the organization, serving on the Webinarios Committee, and multiple conference planning committees.

APBP is a community of practitioners working to create more walkable, bikeable places. They foster peer knowledge sharing, advance technical expertise, and support the professional development of their members who work in government, consulting firms, and non-profit organizations in the field of transportation planning and engineering, urban design and planning, public health, and active living. The APBP Board of Directors is committed to implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for the organization.

About Cody

After living and working around the country from Anchorage, AK to Boulder, CO to Minneapolis, MN, he resides back in his hometown of Fargo, ND. Cody has a passion for providing active modes of transportation, so he established and now leads the Active Transportation Services group at Bolton & Menk. His national bicycle and pedestrian design expertise helps build support for improved multimodal infrastructure. By harnessing his experience, listening to community input, and coordinating with project stakeholders, he creates accessible designs that are feasible and implementable, easy to navigate, and improve the region’s transportation system for those who walk, bike, or roll. When not at work, you can find Cody enjoying the trails of Eastern ND and Northern MN with his wife and two kids or watching a game of English Football with friends and family.
