Paving has begun! North Shore Drive was paved yesterday, November 7th and they are currently paving Wilson Drive and Terrace Blvd. They will begin on CSAH 9 today and paving will continue through next Monday or Tuesday. On Monday, the contractor will begin doing the bituminous driveways. Only the driveways of permanent residents will be done this year, seasonal driveways will get done next year.
The road will continue to stay closed after the paving as there is still cleanup work to do. Through traffic should continue to use the detour until the road closed signs have been taken down.
Mailboxes will be put back to their original places late next week.
