Alcon Construction has nearly completed aggregate base construction on Robert Street and has completed sewer, water, and service construction along Minnesota Street from CR 3 to 1st Street, near the existing water tower connection.
For the coming week, they plan to continue with sewer, water, and service construction along Minnesota Street, between 1st Street and 3rd Street, and begin roadway excavation along the north end of Minnesota Street.

Alcon Construction completed aggregate base construction on Ellen Street and is nearly done with sanitary sewer and water services along Robert Street. They also completed valve installation for the existing water tower along Minnesota Street.
For the coming week, they plan to begin working on sewer and watermain construction along Minnesota Street and roadway excavation along Robert Street.

Alcon Construction completed aggregate base construction on Park Street and is working on street excavation and aggregate base construction on Ellen Street. Sanitary sewer main is completed on Robert Street and they are currently working on watermain construction.
The temporary water system has been set up along Minnesota Street, between Center Street and 3rd Street, in preparation for utility work beginning there.
For the coming week, they plan to finish watermain construction and services on Robert Street and complete aggregate base construction on Ellen Street. They also plan to begin stripping aggregate from Minnesota Street and complete valve installation for the existing water tower connection on Minnesota Street. This may require a temporary water shutdown. If your home will be affected by the shutdown, you will be notified.

Alcon Construction has finished sewer and water main and service construction along Park Street and Ellen Street. Park Street homes have been disconnected from the temporary water system, and homes along Ellen Street will be disconnected as soon as the watermain passes pressure and bacteria testing. Alcon also completed the watermain loop through the ballfield between Ellen Street and Park Street.
The temporary water system has been set up along Robert Street, between Center Street and 3rd Street. Homes in this area will be switched over to the temporary water system after bacteria testing is completed, sometime next week.
For the coming week, they plan to begin sanitary sewer construction on Robert Street, and roadway excavation on Ellen Street and Park Street. Early next week, Alcon plans to install valving at the existing water tower connection along Minnesota Street. This will require a temporary water shutdown. If your home will be affected by the shutdown, you will be notified.

Construction is expected to begin on Stage 2 of the sewer and water piping project either the last week of March or the first week of April. Alcon Construction will begin work by milling the pavement in the Stage 2 project area, then begin installing sewer and water pipe along Park Street, south of 3rd Street. Alcon Construction is currently finishing up sewer and water construction along 3rd Street between Robert Street and Park Street.
For the coming week, they plan complete aggregate base installation along 3rd Street between Robert Street and Park Street, complete clean up and rough grading of the boulevard/yard areas, grade the aggregate base along all of the streets, and install temporary seed/mulch for the winter. The goal is to have the project prepped for winter by the end of next week, and suspend construction until next spring.

Wednesday, October 28th
Alcon Construction is currently finishing up sewer and water construction along Robert Street. They are also working on road construction along Robert Street.
For the coming week, they plan to install sewer and water mains along 3rd Street between Robert Street and Park Street and finish road construction and aggregate base construction along Robert Street. Once this work is complete, they will install aggregate base along this section of roadway, finish grade all of the aggregate base that was installed this fall, grade the ditches, and install temporary seed/mulch for the winter.

Alcon Construction is currently working on water/sewer services along Robert Street, south of 3rd Street. Aggregate base has been installed along 3rd Street and Minnesota Street. Aggregate base will be graded smooth prior to suspension of work for the winter in a few weeks.
For the coming week, they plan to complete watermain and water/sewer service installation along Robert Street, south of 3rd Street. Following that, they will begin installing aggregate base along Robert Street.

Alcon Construction is currently working on sanitary sewer construction along Robert Street, south of 3rd Street. They are also working on installing aggregate base for the roadway along 3rd Street and Minnesota Street.
For the coming week, they plan to complete sanitary sewer main installation and begin watermain installation along Robert Street, south of 3rd Street. They also hope to finish aggregate base installation along 3rd Street and Minnesota Street.

Wednesday, October 7th
Alcon Construction has completed sanitary sewer and watermain installation along Minnesota Street between 3rd Street and South Street, and is nearly complete with the same along South Street.
For the coming week, they plan to work on sanitary sewer installation along Robert Street, from 3rd Street to South Street. In order to complete this work, homes along Robert Street will be hooked up to an above ground temporary water system, and a temporary water shutdown is planned for tomorrow. If you are expected to be affected by the water shutdown, you would have already received notice of this. Wednesday, September 30th
Alcon Construction has completed sanitary sewer and watermain installation along 3rd Street between Main Street (CR 1) and Robert Street. Along South Street, they have completed sanitary sewer main, and are about 2/3 complete with the watermain. Along Minnesota Street, they have nearly completed the sanitary sewer main.
For the coming week, they plan to finish watermain and sewer and water service construction along South Street, and along Minnesota Street, they plan to complete the sanitary sewer, watermain, and services. A water shut down is planned for Tuesday or Wednesday next week so Alcon prepare for water and sewer installation along Robert Street.

Alcon Construction has completed sanitary sewer installation and nearly completed watermain installation along 3rd Street, between Main Street (CR 1) and Robert Street. For this next week, they plan to begin installing sanitary sewer south along Minnesota Street and west along South Street. If you are having issues with your water service due to the water shutdown earlier this week, or with the temporary water system connection not your home (if you have one), please contact Steve Vrieze.

Thursday, September 17th
Alcon Construction began installing sanitary sewer along 3rd Street on Tuesday this week and are currently at the intersection of Minnesota Street. Temporary water lines have been set up and Alcon plans to begin hooking up homes to the temporary system starting tomorrow. For the coming week, they plan to continue with sanitary sewer installation, turning south along Minnesota Street. They also plan to bring in a second crew and begin installing sanitary sewer along South Street, starting at CR 3.
Next, week, there is a planned water shutdown scheduled for Tuesday morning (9/22), at approximately 9am. If your home is planned to be affected by the shutdown, Alcon staff will notify you, either verbally or though a door hanger notice, so please look for those.
