Bolton & Menk is playing a key role in the Arts and Innovation District of Downtown Myrtle Beach, starting with Phase 1A, which involved transforming the superblock parking lot by designing water and sewer systems and converting overhead utility wires to an underground conduit system. The district's overall vision includes an infrastructure overhaul, with Bolton & Menk leading the planning and design of roadways, sidewalks, parking, and bike lanes to create safe and beautiful streets for pedestrians and cyclists. They have also completed the design of water, sewer, storm drainage, and electrical systems, ensuring connectivity and future scalability for proposed buildings.
